Complaint: I purchased a pair of Pacesetter replacement exhaust manifolds with converters. They fit my 2005 Nissan Titan . The cost was 300.00 each side . The labor to replace was 825.00 The manifolds did not last a year and both sides cracked at the welds. I contacted Pacesetter and they asked for photos I sent around 10 photos of the manifolds with the dates stamped on them. I got a reply then asking for my purchase receipt that I do not have. This company can clearly see from the photos that they still had paint on them. That they were broke at the welds and the dates they made them.
Desired Settlement: Replacement even tho I already bought much better quality parts, refund or credit.
We have not refused to honor the warranty claim. This is a fairly recent situation presented to us (initial contact by customer=10/13/2013; this is being written 10/17/2013), but you can see that the reported problem occurred about SIX weeks before we were contacted.
Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *******, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
How do they figure the problem happened Six weeks prior to reporting it? 08/12 is the date stamped on there product .They need to read emails before replying!
