On January 20, 2012, the BBB contacted Lowrate.com with concerns regarding how Arizona consumers are solicited for pay day loans on their website; www.lowrate.com . Specifically, the company's website allows AZ consumers to complete  an electronic payday loan application, and does not properly disclose that AZ consumers are not eligible to receive payday loans. The company has informed BBB that although an AZ resident can submit a payday loan application, the consumer will not be contacted by any lender about receiving a loan. BBB has asked the business to enhance their website to not allow AZ consumers to be able to submit any payday loan applications.  BBB has concerns about unnecessary personal and sensitive information being submitted to third party's without proper dislosures. Although Lowrate.com responded to the BBB, the company did not make the requested revisions to the website.
