Complaint: January 08, 2013 I purchased a washing machine with the
intentions of sending it to Chalco, Mexico. I paid a $84 deposit to expedite
the process. I was purchasing  the
washing machine for my grandmother, as I did not want her to wash by hand any
longer. On January 20, 2013, my grandma noticed the washer was delivered in an
old car. The delivery personnel could not carry the heavy product and dropped
the product. My family members told them to not to deliver the product in that
fashion. They soon noticed the what was supposed to be a washer was a dryer. My
family members told the delivery personnel to take the dryer with him as they
did not purchase a dryer. The delivery personal told my family members, Del Sol
Furniture sells only restored items in Mexico. I called the store to speak to
Salvador, the sales rep and was information he was out of the office and would
have to wait to speak to him. I ended up going to the store and he told me I
had to wait, there was nothing he could do and I would have to contact the
distribution center and speak to a manager there. I was told maybe the dryer
was delivered by accident. I was told there was nothing that could be done for
me. I requested my $84 deposit be returned to me and I have yet to receive it.

Desired Settlement: I would like for you to investigate this business. They are
servicing Mexico and sell used items. I would like the $85 deposit refunded to
me.

Business Response: I apologize for this issue. We offer the service to buy here and deliver the product in Mexico through a third party company. The name of the company is ** ****** *******. We have worked with them for years and once in a while we do have an issue with delivery. We spoke to the company to find out what happened and they admitted that they sent out the wrong product. The product that gets delivered is new and should match exactly with what the invoice here says. Its takes a few days to get to the bottom of this as the company is in Mexico and they need to do their research on what happened. We told the customer we would follow up and that she could try the delivery again or we can refund her all her money. The customer picked to cancel and her check is ready for pick up for to be mailed out. I tried calling again today but she did not pick up. 

We will keep trying to get a hold of her to refund her money.
