Advisory Warning

Central Illinois - Today BBB issued an advisory warning members of the medical community nationwide to be alert to a potential web listing scheme. Over the past several months Better Business Bureau has handled over a dozen complaints from medical professionals in Missouri, Florida, Texas, Indiana, New Hampshire, New York, Louisiana and California. The complaints allege that the company sends solicitations via fax requesting confirmation of basic business information. According to complainants these faxes are then followed by invoices for two years of web listing services at $598.00 per year. BBB investigation revealed no valid telephone number for The address leads to a commercial mail drop in Springfield Illinois. The company’s web address is registered via a company in Australia. BBB requests for additional information and/or response to consumer complaints are currently unanswered. We recommend that you thoroughly read all fine print and make sure you know who is requesting your information before filling out and replying to faxes or any other requests.
