Complaint Trade-In Not Paid Off by Dealership After Buying new Vehicle I traded in my 2013 Toyota RAV4 on Feb 18, 2015 for a 2015 Nissan Rogue. Today, March 3, 2015, my bank electronically took out the payment for the Toyota. I called my bank and they told me that they have not received the 10 day payoff for the loan from Uftring Nissan. I called Uftring Nissan and the finance manager **** ***** said that they sent the check, by MAIL for the payoff to my bank on Feb 25, 2015. This is a full week AFTER the sale was final. My bank states that this is the dealerships' problem and the dealership says it is my banks' problem. Why would Uftring Nissan ask for a 10 day payoff for my vehicle if they are not going to pay off within the 10 days? I am now being charged interest daily on a vehicle I now longer have or own. **** ***** seemed very disinterested in my dilema and told me I should have called my bank when I traded in my car and cancelled the auto-pay. How was I to know that they would hold this money? It was very unprofessional of Uftring Nissan to hold the loan pay-off for a full week after the sale was final. . I now have TWO active car loans, which as a military retiree, cannot afford.
Desired Settlement I would like the loan for the trade in, 2013 Toyota RAV4 paid off in full ASAP and I would like reimbursed for any additional interest that I paid for this loan due to Uftring Nissan's delay.
Final Consumer Response UPDATE: My trade-in was paid in full by Uftring Nissan to my bank as of March 5, 2015. Uftring Nissan has also refunded the additional payment that my bank took from my account.
Complaint bought a car, having severe rust issues, uftring nissan not willing to do anything. i bought my car from uftring nissan in january of 2014. car was certified pre-owned. it is having severe rusting issues. uftring nissan GM said he would take care of the repairs. now he will not return a phone call or email. car has been owned less then a year and driven less then 6k miles.
Desired Settlement i would like uftring nissan or any of the other uftring dealerships to please fix/repair the rust issues in my car. i have bought several cars from uftring, have family that work at uftring, and have used their body shops several times. i find it odd that the Uftring Nissan dealership is behaving this way.
Business Response The service manager has left a couple of messages on Mr. ******'s phone to try and set an appointment to have us look at the car. I would welcome Mr. ****** to visit our service deptartmnet and together I am sure we can find a solution.
