Complaint My name is ***** ****** and we had your company install a new liner and steps in 2014 for 8,000.00. The work was completely unacceptable and we have reached out to your company on several occasions with no response.
Your company installed our pool for the previous owners so of course we chose your company to do the repairs.
The first complaint that I have is your entire crew did not speak English and we knew there were several mistakes that were made but none of the crew could understand us. The steps that we paid 4,000.00 for were not made to fit this pool. If we put any water on the top step the skimmer is covered up and therefore does not work properly. The cool decking around the steps chipped off the second day and no one has come to fix it. We have anywhere from 12-15 LARGE wrinkles in our pool. There are so many rough patches in the liner that feel like rocks that I am scared any day know they will poke a hole in the liner.
We have spoken with every female that works in your office and they always tell us someone will be in touch and of course no one responds.
**** was very quick to take our money and I think we might have spoken with **** once but NO ONE from your company has attempted to come out and make this pool right.
I am not trying to be hard to deal with but the truth remains the work was "shoddy" to say the least and your company does not feel the need to make things right. I have had two pool companies look at this work and they all agree this should not have happened. But once it did they all said your company should have come out and made it right.
So I am asking you by email, are you going to come and look at this pool and see what can be done? I will not call again for I get nowhere with that. If I don't get a response or something done to make my pool right, I will be in touch with the BBB to see what can be done.
Consumer Response No I have not heard from Pamlico Pool Company. I was going to email the BBB to see if you had a deadline date for them to respond. I see it is August 18th. Please let me know if you hear anything.
Thanks so much,
Business Response On 08/10/15 Pamlico received and read the letter from the BBB dated 07/31/15 pertaining to a customer complaint. We have since had communication via email with Mrs. ******. ****, one of the owners, met with her this week to discuss the issues with her pool.
Consumer Response emailed Pamlico Pools on 09/03/2015 to ask for a date that we can plan on to get this work finished on the pool. I have not received a reply from anyone. This is the reason I do not want this complaint closed until the work is done. Pamlico has a problem with following through.
Business Response Contact Name and Title: ******** ********** Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: ******@pamlicopools.com ****, one of the owners, met with Mrs. ****** back on August 18 and both agreed to have the repair work done in September. We received an email from Mrs. ****** on September 3 and 15 requesting repair dates. On behalf of ****, I replied back to her on September 15 with a date of September 22, weather permitting, to repair her pool. Due to bad weather, our crew was unable to start repair work on the 22nd. It has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 30.
Business Response Our service guys pumped Mrs. ******'s pool down on Tuesday, October 6 to smooth out areas under the liner. They also repaired the kool deck at the steps. We furnished chemicals for the pool and filled the pool back up. Mrs. ****** seemed pleased with the repair work after it was finished.
Consumer Response Business did come back to repair liner.
