We purchased a 2020 F450 on March 26. Everything went smooth at buying time. On April 08 (2 weeks later) the truck broke down. The cp4 fuel system failed, blowing the motor and exhaust system. They sold us this truck with a 135 point inspection and 15 day exchange policy, charging us for new fuel filters among other things. They never changed the fuel filters which if they had they would of seen the metal shavings in the fuel and the fuel system failing. The truck is sitting at their shop in the parking lot and nothing has been done. We have been very patient with them, but they need to honor their 15 day exchange and either pay off our loan or put us in another truck. Every time I speak to them they have something different to say. The manager has yet to reach out to me even though I have called him many times. The one time he was privately in the room during my conversation with his customer service rep he spoke up when I asked why he wouldn’t talk to me, and he said “he didn’t need to.” Today he finally responded to an email I sent him, but still nothing has been done. We spent $70,000 on a truck we had for 2 weeks and they are doing nothing to resolve this. They have not offered a solution to our disabled vehicle that was purchased from them and will not address the fuel system and filters that were negligently inspected per their 135 point inspection advertised prior to selling us the vehicle. They either did not disclose the fuel system failing after installing used filters or they did not change the fuel filters at all.
