Complaint Treatment for Flea Service did not work at all, tech fraudulent misrepresented the product and refused to retreat right away! When the technician from Clermont Pest Detector came to treat a flea problem we had, I asked him about the product they were using. He stated the product is an aerosol commercial grade product that kills both fleas and there larva. He said after they treated we would see a little activity for the first week, he then treated the house. When we arrived home several hours later, we followed the instructions to vacuum etc. The next day my wife called me in a panic saying the fleas were still very bad, we continued to vacuum a few times a day and waited a little over a week until we realized that our 19 month old son and 4 year old were all getting ate alive along with my wife was getting bit continuously! I called and was told by the owner Katrina that we had to wait 3 weeks for a retreat, I explained to her that it was more then just some activity and I needed them out right away, she refused and said we needed to wait! We waited over 2 weeks and for the health and well being of my kids I decided to call another company in right away! While i was waiting on another company to arrive, I again contacted Katrina who then offered to move the appointment up a little but that would still have required me to wait 5 more days of my babies getting ate alive and i just can not do that, they can get sick from these bites! I then did some research and found out the product they used is NOT even a commercial grade product and that the tech lied and misrepresented it to me as there customer! I then asked for a refund several times and then demanded a refund and Katrina refused!! I am now having the card holder dispute the transaction and I am going to contact attorneys to see what i can do since they misrepresented the product and my sons and wife got ate alive because of it!!!!
Desired Settlement Refund $175
Business Response I spoke with Mr.****** the day after the complaint was made (10/9) and found out during our conversation that the initial treatment had been compromised. Upon learning this, the tech & service manager were sent out the same day to reassess the situation. It was discovered that the treatment placed on 9/24 was removed, cleaned away and contaminated. The service manager explained how the service works and gave instructions to both ***** & ***** to follow. Another treatment was completed at that time. We are keeping our original follow-up that was scheduled at the initial service due 10/22 at 4:30pm.

Complaint The pest control treatment is not effective. They have sprayed twice over a 6 week period and roaches remain a problem. Requested refund-no response. Paid Dale the owner $345.00 for a one year service contract on July 9, 2015. They came a few days later and sprayed the first time. A few weeks later I continued to have live roaches so they came back and resprayed/baited the entire house inside and out. In September I had live roaches again - 5 or 6 in my kitchen. Called the office explaining my frustration and requesting a refund. Was told a check would be sent out end of week. Dale the owner called wanting to come out again - not interested in giving them yet another chance while the roach problem gets worse. Would like a refund.
Desired Settlement A full refund is preferred.
Business Response This customer did call but at no time did she request a refund or a promise that a check would be sent (see attached notes). The agreement she signed clearly states that we will perform any further retreatment necessary free of charge. This customer refused service and therefore is not entitled to a full refund. I will however refund $200.00 and consider this account closed.
Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I originally spoke with the owners' wife who answers the office number phone. After explaining my problem with their service it was she who offered to send "a check" by the "end of the week" her words. I did allow them to come back to retreat after the first treatment. I do not feel I am obligated to allow them back time and time again. I assume they do there best the first time and then again the second time. Their baiting material does not work apparently. I have since found another service who has come out and treated and two weeks later I have had only dead roaches. I appreciate the offer of $200.00 but I think $300 would be more appropriate. I have had to contend with live roaches twice now in my kitchen and bath - that fact needs to be taken into consideration also.
Final Business Response This customer refused service. The offer to refund $200.00 is extended only until 10/23/15.
