Atlas Van Lines and has Assured Relocation to do the moving. The driver of the Atlas van ran into my and my neighbors mailbox. No one came to the door to inform me but when I went out to get my mail, the front of both mailboxes were completely ruined. Two mailboxes sit atop one pole due to the restrictions of our HOA, plus we have to use the mailboxes from Creative Mailboxes compliant to our HOA rules. I walked over to my neighbor to talk with him and they had not informed him either. The driver came over and gave me Dave ****'s phone number because he is the person in charge of Assured Relocation Services. He was very rude and told me it wasn't the end of the world. At that time he asked if I was going to ********** or ***** to get the mailboxes and told him that due to our HOA rules, we can't just use any mailbox. I waited over a week and finally got ahold of Atlas Van Lines VP, Gary *******. He was very pleasant and told me that he would make sure the Dave **** would in fact pay for the mailboxes. It's been over a month, several emails and phone calls with no response from Dave ****. Gary told me that Dave **** told him he was going to mail it last week. I seriously doubt that's the case as it doesn't take over a week from Orlando to Lutz to get mail.
I know two couples that are moving soon and have told them our problem and they will not be using either of these companies.
I might be out $55 but their loss is more.
I went and got both mailboxes the same day and really thought the company would be honorable and do the right thing. I wasn't moving, my neighbor was. I should not have had to pay a dime for their mistake.
