Complaint: i hired colstone granite to fabricate a solid surface counter top in epcot paid deposit as contract stipulated. and the messed it all up!
i hired colstone granite to supply and install a solid surface counter top in epcot. they cancelled two installation dates and everything went down hill from the.
They promised that there would be 3 installers there to get project done at a timely fashion. only one installer and a helper showed up. As i know the trade i started helping out all night i spent working on the project that i paid to get done for pressure and stress took over the installation was done poorly and they did not finish accordingly. they had to go two other separate times to fix miss cutting and miss measurements. on the first night he sneakily got my contractors tel number to have a direct contact with them. when he saw that he wasn't doing things right he pressured me to pay him in full and his job was not complete, during this time i received numerous calls from *** his wife and ****** himself threatened me to beat me up and..... the reason i did not pay him in full was because his product was not installed correctly and i explained that to them. continuously i received nasty phone calls from both so i stopped taking their calls and just tried to communicate via email. up to this point i have not received the final product and i had to hire another company to finish up. Material was delivered wrong so they lost and than i am still in the process of trying to find a company to finish up.i believe he has called people around town to not to do business with me and he is defaming me for his errors and this is the reason i am writing to you today.because of his gross negligence and defaming me to my contract and all i have not finished the project i am having trouble finding a company to finish up and has cost me 250 thousand dollars worth of future work.not to mention all my time and effort i am having to put into this project because of his poor/bad business practices.this is a serious matter and i am very disappointed and out of a lot of money and the stress level has gone up in which i feel like i am having a nervous breakdown.
they both have created a big time issue just because they did not do their job right so they wanted to get full payment up front prior to finishing up. i would like for this company to compensate me for my time and efforts, i would like a written letter of apology from them and i would like for this company not to be accredited anymore.they did this to me and they will do this to another person.

Only seeing the way he writes, everyone can notice his unprofessional way to do business.
He told me, he was contracted by Disney to do the job and that was not true. The General Contractor was award the remodeling of a kiosk on Disney; the GC contracted a tile company to do the countertops, the tile company hired ****** ****** and he ordered me the countertops only, nothing else. He was expecting to receive additional parts that he never ordered. We successfully installed what he ordered and I do have the contract signed by him. There were many issues on this job due of his lack of professionalism. First, he was the one did not show up when we scheduled the template, he finally answer the phone later morning and said that he forgot. Promptly we reschedule the template for next day. ****** ****** never set up the job place for us to do a good template; the template guy had to do the template with a countertop full of equipment. Finally we scheduled the installation date accordingly with ****** ******' schedule, which had to be done at night after 12 am and before 8 am.
We never promised how many people will go to an installation; we always schedule the installers according with the job size. ****** ****** was supposed to remove the existing laminate countertops; he began removing the tops when the installers of the countertops arrived to the job site, this is why we took longer that we were supposed to, we stared the installation about 2 hours later. It was 95 sqft of countertop with more than 10 cut-outs obviously we did not finish the first time we went to the job place; we never promised him that everything was going to be finish at the same time, but we successfully completed everything according with the General Contractor who was obviously more knowledgeable than ****** ******.
He called me many times with bad words saying that I did not complete the job even though he has the contract signed by him showing what he ordered.
As a company, I needed to contact the General Contractor to obtain information to submit a notice to owner and then record a lien to the property in case payment is not received by terms. I have not contact anyone else, I do not know the customers of ****** ******, this is the first I have worked with him. Mr. ****** ****** is trying to get advantage of this situation. His General Contractor is very disappointed with him due of the poor way he managed this project. According with his General Contractor, he has not completed the project that he promised him. I have never talked to other people like he exclaimed on his report.
He was never hired by Colstone to complete the countertop project; therefore Colstone will not pay him what he is charging.
Colstone Inc, has successfully furnished commercial countertops for many important and organized General Contractors, Builders and Homeowners, in addition has a clean record with the Better Business Bearau for over 5 years. I will not affect my credibility as a company for an unprofessional person that does not know how to do business.

Complaint Resolution: Company addressed the complaint issues. The consumer failed to acknowledge acceptance to BBB.
