    I was asked for my zip code and discriminated against because I don't live in Windermere! I complained 2 times in 9 YEARS about a service and was told they no longer want my business! If my zip code was different and my home was bigger, I'm sure this wouldn't have been an issue and I would still be a customer. I became a customer in 2012 when Lynn and first started the business and they were the ones doing the calling to do business with me. Jump to 2021 and I've complained twice about one minor thing and one major issue. Now they can't please me, really, after 9 YEARS of being a customer. This company needs to look at their discriminating policy and fire Alex, he's going to be your downfall. He has customer service! Thanks for your $85 refund The Maids of Orlando! Take heed if you live in the WRONG area code! Shame on you! Shame on you!!

    We have cleaned this customer's home for over nine years in the same location. We do not use zip codes to determine what houses we will clean. Over the nine years, this customer has frequently not been at home when the house was scheduled to be cleaned. Even though we confirm our hour window of arrival time with a phone call or text the day before. We send a team of four people to the home and they can not clean the home as we can't gain access. We pay these four people while they drive to the home and while they sit until they can go to the next scheduled home. This is a problem for us and the following customers.
    Given that long painful history, the customer decided to ask for a re-clean. That was not a problem as we are not perfect and we sometimes miss things. The issue was that she wanted the entire home re-cleaned. That was too much. We reached a financial settlement with the customer and informed her we would no longer be cleaning her home. From the review above, you can see that she didn't appreciate us terminating her service.

    Mr. *****, this is NOT true! First of all, your maids have ALWAYS had access to my home and have NEVER had to wait for me!! It is NOT your policy that someone has to be home when a cleaning takes place. I have ALWAYS provided access to my home and your MAIDS HAVE NEVER had to wait NOT one second! Where are you getting this information from, obviously, your incompetent office manager, Alex, has given you inaccurate information and after over nine years of being a customer, you did not try to call me to get the whole story! If I was a valued customer, you would have tried to contact me. You DID NOT even respond to my emails!!!
    Everything I previously noted is ALL TRUE, I have only had TWO issues in my over 9 years of service and this is how you show your gratitude to your LOYAL customers by dropping them. The first issue was VERY VERY MINOR and it was taken care of and this was only my 2nd concern in NINE YEARS AND YOU DROP ME AS A CUSTOMER. Why did Alex ask for the zip code of a customer of NINE YEARS when this information was right in front of home. I DID NOT ASK FOR MY ENTIRE HOUSE TO BE RE-CLEANED THAT IS A LIE that Alec evidently told you, I was only asking for the areas where I was not satisfied. He even went on to say the maids had videos which was not true, I sent him the videos. Is it your policy now to video your customer's homes, is this something I'm your policy that I missed! Why would he feel like he needed to tell me that my home was video taped! This was a disgrace and feels like discrimination the way Alex treated me. If you had returned my calls or emails, this all could have been avoided. It's ok if your maids were having a bad day (we all do) and maybe they were getting too comfortable with my home, that's why I asked Alex to send another team, AGAIN, if you had returned my calls or emails, you would have known this!!! I know how Alex, your office manager treated me and that was like I was subpar!! As far as a financial settlement, I have not received this to date. If this is the way Alex handles customer service, it was very unprofessional, unkind and discriminatory. Again, what you are saying about the maids not having access to my home and/or having to wait, this is NOT TRUE and I am demanding an apology for this. Before you replaced the young lady office manager with Alex, this is when everything went down hill! The young lady was always professional and her customer service was EXCELLENT! Repeating that I only had one very minor issue when the young lady was your office manager, the issue was that one dresser was not dusted properly. Just one dresser! That was the first issue so Alex must have saw this in the system and used it to discriminate against me because he has brought it up many many times and I told him that this was no longer an issue (that had happened years ago) The 2nd issue was what Alex made it out to be because evidently he was following your discriminatory policies or his own! I did not deserve this type of treatment and now it seems you are trying to cover it up by making up lies that there was a problem with the maids having access to my home. They always had access to my home and NEVER had to wait. They were given my home alarm codes and entry to my home. They NEVER had to wait. I am a teacher and work for a living, I was NEVER told that I had to be at home during a clean! This is totally bogus and I can't believe this happened as I did not do anything to deserve this type of treatment after being a LOYAL, LONG TIME CUSTOMER for over 9 years!! I will never understand why I was treated this way! This all could have been avoided if you, as the owner of the company, would have returned my repeated pleas to contact me.
