      On August 4 2023 we purchased a new Volvo xc60 from The Volvo Store in *********** **. We also purchased the MagniShield protection plan at a cost of $1,687.00. On December 16th 2023 we noticed a dent in the trim under the passenger side door. I contacted the Volvo store and was told to file a claim with ***********. On Monday at 9am I called MagniShield to start a claim, I was informed to contact the Volvo Store to start the process. The Volvo store told me to contact Precision Collision and they would look at the damage and start the claim. I called Precision Collision told the about the damage the woman I was speaking to, began to tell me they do not repair dents (The Volvo Store told us dents are covered). I called the Volvo store back and spoke to *** and told him about the run around I was getting. *** asked me to email him photos of the damage and he would send them off to start the claim. On December 28th 2023 I emailed *** to find out the status of the claim. *** emailed me and said that he thought the MagniShield had been in contact with me already, since they were not, he will reach out to find out what is going on. As of today's date, 1/06/2024, I have not been contacted by anyone. When they told us about this warranty we asked if dents were covered; for example if a golf ball struck the side of the car and left a golf ball sized dent would that be covered? *** told us it would. I told *** we have had bad experiences with these companies, *** told us that would not be the case. *** told us the companies that Volvo uses will come through.

      My service for an oil change and filter was scheduled for 06/10/21 Volvo Store Winter Park. I mentioned to Nikiya the my park assist has been on and off since my last service appointment at Winter Park Volvo. Received a text from service advisor Nikiya ****** while waiting for the oil change needs immediate attention diagnostic performed showed rear bumper driver side park assist sensor internal failure. $400.86 to make the repair in addition to the scheduled oil change. I declined the service. Got home checked the rear driver side park assist sensor that Winter Park volvo said needed to be replaced. The main lead wire was hanging and disconnected from the sensor. Plugged it back in snapped to click and slid the tan tab over to secure the clamp to ten minutes. Spoke to Ketki at Volvo corp and she opened a case file and said this was horrible and none of the Volvo dealerships should be doing this to a customer.. Sent her a video of the problem and how it was resolved after I fixed it. Three people from winter park volvo contacted me. Nikiya called and told me that I should be glad that Winter Park Volvo did not charge me the $200.00 diagnostic fee they usually charge to diagnose a problem. I said why would you charge a diagnostic fee when no diagnostic was done, if a diagnostic was done it would not have come back sensor failure because the sensor was not bad. When the car was on the lift getting the oil change the technician would have seen the park assist was just unplugged and I would have gladly paid the labor charge for the reconnection. Nikiya made every excuse she could think of. received two other apology calls including Gary service manager. When Nikiya went around my vehicle and took photos i guess she missed the handicap license plate. So The Volvo Store Winter Park tried to commit fraud and to a handicap person.
