    On 4/13/2022 we purchased our brand new 2022 BMW X5 and the sales experience at Melbourne BMW was exceptional however we were not fully explained what the "All Surface Appearance Protection" plan includes as far as services covered. We were under the impression that it covered dings, chips, scratches and love bug damage. The Finance manager from the dealership also never mentioned you have to call a 3rd party company to file a claim, it was presented to us that it would work at any BMW dealership in the US. if we had a problem it would be taken care of there at the dealership when stopped by for service. We found out after I brought my car into the Tampa dealership last Thursday that this plan does not cover dings, scratches, chipped paint after I had to call the 3rd party company number and I was shocked to hear when I was explained that the "All Surface Appearance Protection" plan is for protection against the environment and not against scratches and chipped paint?? At that point, i immediately called the Melbourne Finance Mger bc I felt my husband and I were misinformed and when he called me back that day he explained to me on the phone that there is a separate protection plan that covers tires, dings, dents, key replacement, and rim fixes. My husband nor I remember this conversation at ALL at the time of financing. We'd like a refund on this product bc we feel completely taken advantage of and mislead. Transparency is key in this business and we feel totally blindsided. Had it been explained that this was environmental only and only protects against water spots, love bug damage, and car wash damage (swirls)when we purchased it, we would have never added it. It's really disappointing when you get to the dealership and you find out that what you added is not in fact what was offered/sold to you. I'm now reluctant to promote BMW and their services and this is our 3rd BMW.

    They tried to intentionally kill my car. I had it go in for a recall on the airbags in my 200 e39 530i and they qouted me 6k to "restore" my car. Yeah, no. We refused. So we had an oil change done and my pan had a punctured pan that after they did this the car was constantly leaking oil, however they moved the sensor down to low so when it said I was running low it was reading as just below threshold and I would put a quart in and still be pretty much out of oil. My car ended up seizing, thankfully the sensor tripped an after market module we have installed and it put my car into limp mode to not consume oxygen. My engine had to have a full inspection and have every single seal minus the rear seal replaced. Plus a head gasket. Ended up paying 1k. Then came the truly frustrating part. They failed to do a inspection on the car itself. So minus the car having a bad oil sensor placement. My front right brake caliper was seized when they brought it in, we didn't know, they didn't say. After my engine seized we brought it to Melbourne Motorsport and they did a full inspection of the car and said my brake was a ticking time bomb. I was hours, days, weeks or months from having an all out brake failure because my seized caliper shot enough gunk into the brake lines they nearly were non existent. So yeah, this company is both unreliable, and reckless and could have gotten me killed because they didn't do a basic inspection. They are going to get someone killed.

    The last time this vehicle was at Melbourne BMW for repairs, including the Air Bag Recall was November 5, 2018. The work order states multiple oil leaks as well as other issues as well as the instrument cluster. This information proves there was an inspection performed and the customer was made aware of the multiple issues including several oil leaks. Without being repaired, the vehicle will continue to leak oil and will cause the low oil indicator to be displayed. The customer accusations are quite serious, so I am questioning why it took 2.5 years to file a complaint.
