I purchased a 2023 **** Escape from *************** on December 14th 2023 (0fficially transferred title) and was told that my first payment wouldn't be due until 45 days.On January 6the vehicle broke down and had to towed to the service center at the ** Auto Mall on I was given a loaner vehicle until services were complete. During this time the General Manager ************************* decided that he didn't want me to have the vehicle I purchased because of a personal issue he has with me. I was tracked down and treated horribly by his staff. They brought me to the Auto Mall with the impression I would be picking up my vehicle from the service department. I was brought into his office and was verbally and physically assaulted by him. He threatened me with the police for no reason and would not allow me to take my vehicle. I managed to get a staff member to get me out of harm's way back to the area I was picked up from. He now is saying I am $1,600. Behind on payments which is impossible considering I officially owned the vehicle less than a month. I was also told on Dec 14th that I had 45 days before I needed to make a payment. I put my used vehicle up as a down payment and now have no means of transportation. This is an outrage and they think they are above the law. This has caused major set backs for my family and I don't even know how to defend myself.
