On October 9th, 2021 we bought a washer from this business and cost is $401.12. And on Oct 12 when they send someone to install the washer (and they charge $55 for delivery and installation), Unfortunately they used a rusted broken hose and they didn't test it when they done. Same day , 2 hours later after the installation when my tenants try to use the washer, the water is everywhere! We stopped the washer immediately but still lots of water get under the wood flooring. On Oct 13, they send another people to reinstall, and replaced the RUSTED and DEFECTIVE water hose. Although on Oct 12 when the incident happened, we tried our best to clean water, but now the whole second floor loft area's flooring popped up badly and need to be replaced. They are all severely water damaged. The floorings pops up so badly that people will get trapped. We find several quotes and the average quote to replace the loft area's damaged flooring is around $3,000. (including old flooring removal, later, materials..) On Oct 22 we went to the store and the store manage only left us a email address. We email them the same day with request and evidences. No response. 2 weeks later another manager replies email but only offers refund $400 washer cost. And she mentions the owner thinks that we are trying to take advance of this. On Nov 17, 2021 we finally got the owner's phone number and we immediately contacted him. However, the owner do not respond to our request. It is such a very frustrating experience. We are looking for convenience and quality merchandize and services. But ended up getting lots of financial loss and potential lawsuit. First the floorings pops up so badly that people will get trapped. That's a potential liability issue. Secondly, a water damaged flooring will cause mold issue later! We will request the business to pay for the cost of replacing the second floor loft area's flooring $2,800. Thank you.
