Complaint
Did not deliver expected services. Unfortunately, we had a general description of work to be completed on our estimate and statement and the work actually completed did not include all that we believe we discussed with Mr. ****. In addition, paint color was a poor match to existing paint in the house. Mr. **** did come out when we let him know of our dissatisfaction and stated he would repaint the areas we were unhappy with, but declined to address our other issues. Appointments were made twice for Mr. **** to come back and take care of the painting but he did not show up either time and did not call to explain or reschedule.

Desired Settlement
We would like at least a partial refund of $300.00 for failure to repaint plus an additional $100.00 which is what we had to pay another craftsman to complete the work we originally anticipated Mr. **** was going to take care of.

Business' Initial Response
I was away with my son trying to find him an apartment near school reason for missing my appointment. I apologize and realize it was an inconvenience to you. I am willing to offer $250.00 to resolve this matter.

We will except this response; however, we want to point out that our action in this matter was not initiated after the first missed appointment Mr. **** refers to in his response. Our action was initiated after a second missed appointment on August 8 when, again, we had no notice or explanation from Mr. **** as to why he did not keep the appointment upon which we had mutually agreed.
