Complaint Category: Inappropriate behavior by customer service personnel
Complaint: The Chem Dry represenative gave bad customer service and caused damage to the property. Job date is 7/23/13 completed by *** *******, owner of Chem Dry. Chem Dry was hired to come out to our residence on 7/23/13 to supply carpet cleaning services. While *** was in the home he caused damage to the freshly painted base boards through out the home and he did not clean the carpets correctly. After the service had been completed I had to vacuum the house and I cleaned up handfuls of dirt, hair and small debris. While he was in the home he was rude and he made inappropriate comments to myself and to my company. I have used his services in the past for my personal company and all was well but when he was in my private residence he did not carry himself in a professional manner.
Initial Business Response The service was completed. No complaints were received prior to the BBB complaint concerning any damage. This is the only time he has mentioned supposed damage. We have not been paid for services and are owed $272.00 We are willing to proceed with mediation through BBB.
Complaint Resolution: Company addressed the complaint issues. The consumer failed to acknowledge acceptance to BBB.
