Complaint Requested AC to be serviced.. Was charged extra without authorization... Now AC does not work properly... AC worked fine before car was taken to Midas On 5/25/13 my vehicle was taken to have the AC serviced and front struts replaced.After 4.5 hours we contacted Midas for an estimated time as to when my vehicle would be finished. I was told the AC was serviced and it had a leak and refrigerant was added. They also explained my vehicle would not be inspected for the struts until later. I was not satisfied with the amount that was given to me because I only requested the AC to be serviced since it had been working fine and I was not satisfied with them not checking my vehicle for the struts. It had been there since 8:30 am and it was already 1pm. I informed them I would be picking up my vehicle due to the fact we were told it would be ready in 4-5 hours and it wasn't . Now the AC does not blow correctly and doesn't work properly. Invoice # is XXXXXXX. Amount $141.96 paid with credit card visa. Sales associate were two men. One was named ****.
Desired Settlement I am seeking refund of $141.86 and repair of my AC. AC was working fine until Midas mechanics worked on it.

Business' Final Response The customer came in today and we performed an inspection. The A/C was found blowing between 41-42 degrees which is good. We suggested the air filter be replaced. That was denied and we instead tapped out the dust from it to help with the air flow. All checked good. Our services is warrantied.
