My son is in kindred ******* hospital and long-term also, he had a significant stroke 4 months ago and he hasn't woke up! The neurologist, social workers, nurses never ever ever call me back I have left all of them messages once a week for 2 months and nobody calls me back it's a horrible place anyway he has restraints on him and for what? He can't do anything and they keep drugging with ******, Seroquel and I can't even remember the other one the nurses I have told to knock it off and the doctors they don't give a p*** At all about everything! There's not enough nurses at all I'm talking about unit 2 and probably every other floor and they do not have any s i t t e r s with oh my God this place ***** and that's being nice! He has a feeding tube in his stomach, they say that once a week they weigh him and when he was home before that stroke he was 200 lb now he is only 183 lb! Not good at all. I have asked the nurses will you please just try to talk to them talk to him to stimulate him you know what I mean.? The first hospital was in ******** Springs , ********** the wonderful wonderful place and all the nurses and they do have scissors the nurses the doctors so great and actually my son started talking a little he was mumbling but we could understand it's because the nurses and the sitters talk to him all ***********/7 unless he's asleep of course but kindred my poor son is just been laying there like a dead dog sorry to put it that way but you understand what I'm trying to say. Two of my friends was sitting here while I was on the speakerphone to make sure they can hear anything and everything and this time when I called the nurse around 3:00 a.m. I asked is he trying to wake up or what he said well let me go look then he said I will get his phone to help look at or talk to me and him now that blank nurse you have two restraints but he hollered at my son hold the phone then louder then we heard he was pushing my son him loud then the first words he said ow ow ow!
