Complaint: I purchased a vehicle on 2/15/16. I have had issues with the vehicle everyday. I wanted to return the vehicle, get my money back or a different one. since the day after I purchased the vehicle, the company has not repaired anything they have not been willing to work with me. They brush me off when I am trying to explain the issues. I have left my vehicle there several times with the issue to to remain.
Desired Settlement: I would like a refund on my money that I put down on the vehicle. The vehicle has never ran properly and it is a frustrating to me trying to go to the dealer everyday just to get the vehicle repaired with no results. I originally said to let me exchange the vehicle, but with the way that I have been treated and the way the dealer handles business I really just want my money back.
Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2016/04/11) */ to whom it may concern, I, the undersigned ******* ********, owner of EZ Deal Autosales confirming the following facts to the best of my knowledge and recollection: on 2/9/2016 I sold a 2008 dodge avenger licensed plate number ******* to ***** *****, After her test drive and inspection she was very happy and excited about the car, she was given 30 days or 1000 miles warranty, just like everybody else. Few days later she came claiming that her brake is little bit soft and asked if we can check it, we did and we went ahead anyway and replaced the brakes. Then about 2 days before the end of the 30 days warranty she claimed that the temperature is little bit over the one half of the temperature gage, we checked the car, the ear was not over heating but as a courtesy to our customer we changed the thermostat and flushed the radiator. She came with a friend of hers to pick up the car and stated that her friend bought a newer car than hers for less down payment than what she paid to us, can I change my car?. I said no you can't. she said can I get my money back? So I. can buy another car from another dealer? I said no. she became very upset. She took the car and left unhappy. Then at the last day of the 30 days she called me saying that the car is not good, you sold me a bad car, I want my money back or I will sue you. I said if you have any problem in your car I am willing to fix it but If you are calling to get your money back , I am sorry I can't and do what you want to do, however you owe me the monthly payment and you need to pay it. She said I don't have the money and I'm not going to pay you. My conclusion is that I sold her a good car, I took care of her during the legal period of the free warranty which was the 30 days. I believe that she may not be able to pay the payment that's why she is trying to get out of the commitment to fulfill the agreement. I've been selling cars for the past 29 years, I've been taking good care of my customers and I didn't do anything wrong, immoral or illegal. And I refuse to pay her back the down payment that she is demanding, and I am exercising my right to demand the monthly payment, which is $200/month effective march.XXXXXX I 6. She is now in default of the agreement. She is 2 payments behind and her ear is in repossession proceeding. This is my statement to the best of my knowledge and recollection and god is my witness.
