Complaint: C & S sold me a car that was involved in 2 accidents. Information was NEVER disclosed to me before sale. Found out through CarFax. Purchased a 2000 Nissan Sentra XE in October 2014, by a woman named **** from C & S Auto. Vin # 3N1CB51D5YLXXXXXX. Although I had questioned if the car had been into any accidents and was told NO, the fact was that the car I was buying was indeed in fact in two accidents, one of them disabling the car both of them were in Arizona, that information was never disclosed to me. All the information i discovered was discovered on 06/29/2016. After several attempts at making a call to the dealership with only an answering machine to answer, I finally was able to make contact with ***** I spoke with a Lupe who stated "I can sell whatever kind of car I want, if it's not a salvage title I don't have to tell you anything about the car. So pay off what you owe, it's not my problem." I asked to speak to ***** or *** and was told by **** "they aren't here for a week but you don't need to speak with them, you need to just pay off your car" I found all information out through CarFax and have a copy of the report. I refuse to keep this car after finding out how unsafe it is for my kids to travel in. It is against the law to leave that information undisclosed to me, the consumer. I have kept all paperwork from the original purchase date and NO where in that paperwork does it state anything about accidents. I pay credit acceptance finance company every month $211.00 a month. And have NEVER been late. This is absolutely against the law and completely unethical for a business to put peoples lives in harms way as well as take them for their money.
Desired Settlement: I would like them to take this vehicle back. With no bad marks on my credit and if possible refund me my money.

Complaint: I purchased a 2009 Chevy Malibu on Sept.24, 2013 and paid in full. I have not received title, registration and plates. I purchased a 2009 Chevy Malibu on 9/24/2013. I paid by personal check $10,000 paid in full. The check was cashed two days later. To date I have not received plates, registration or title. I have been given many excuses. I have spoken to ***** ******* who sold me the vehicle. And to **** ******** who is a partner in the business. Each time there is an excuse, ie: ****** is at the DMV today, so in a few days. It's always Lupe has and appointment with the DMV. I called Sacramento DMV, Victorville DMV and Arizona DMV. None of them have anything being processed. They told me to file a complaint and request and investigation. The parent company Colorado River Ford, Kingman AZ requested a duplicate title on 11/21, according to Arizona DMV. I want proof of ownership, plates and registration.
Desired Settlement: I want my title, registration and license plates. It has been over 90 days.

WE TRY TO FIX AS FAST AS POSSIBLE BUT WE ARE AT THE MERCY OF DMV, TITLE CLERKS, PAYOFF DEPTS, WE AS A DEALER HAVE NO CONTROL OVER HOW FAST SOMEONE WANTS TO WORK ON THE PAPERWORK WE TRY TO KEEP UP ON THAT SO OUR CUSTOMER CAN HAVE THERE COMPLETED PAPERWORK AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.WE AS A DEALER DONT PURCHASE VEHICLES FROM AUTO AUCTION'S WE ONLY PURCHASE NEW CAR TRADE IN'S SO THAT OUR CUSTOMERS WILL HAVE A BETTER VEHICLE AND CAN BUY WITH CONFIDENCE,UNFORTUNETLY TITLE PROBLEMS OCCUR BECAUSE OF NEW CAR STORES ABILITY TO HAVE THERE PAPERWORK DONE IN A TIMELY MATTER, BUT AS I STATED THIS IS A VERY RARE PROBLEM 95% OF THE TIME THEY ARE DONE IN 30 DAYS OR LESS.WE AS A DEALER FEEL VERY SORRY FOR THE UNFORTUNATE TIME THIS HAS TAKEN BUT WE ARE VERY HOPEFULL DMV WILL HAVE COMPLETED REG IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 10, 2014/01/16) */ In response to my complaint, I received my plates and registration on Jan.11, 2014. And the Sacramento DMV advised that the title was issued and is in the mail, which I should receive very soon. Since this complaint was filed the Dealership did comply by Jan.17th.
