Problems with Product/Service

Complaint: The business owes me a refund of $1345 for a double wall oven purchased but never received. On June 19, 2015, a double wall oven was purchased for my rental property which was at the time managed by a property management company. In October, upon beginning clean up efforts after the property became vacant, I discovered the original oven in the home and not a new one. I contacted the management company first to get a copy of the purchase invoice (number XXXXXX) then proceeded to call the business to inquire about the oven. The owner **** insisted that the oven was indeed installed and speculated the tenants must have stolen it and reinstalled the old one (which would have been hauled away if a new oven was installed). He became very upset and did not want to discuss the issue any further. He was then contacted by the property management company and given the serial number of the oven at the property which did not match the new oven. He revealed to them that there was an error made and the oven was delivered to a different location. After presented with this information, I again contacted the business owner to request refund of $1345.40, the cost of the oven. He wanted me to agree to a partial refund and wanted to be compensated for a presumed trip to the property to investigate. I refused stating that I was not responsible for the mistake.
