Complaint Category: Improper collection practices

Complaint: Alabama Professional Services, Inc continues to charge me for services I did not order and a service that I cancelled.
After failing to show up twice for the scheduled appointments, I cancelled my Pest control service via a phone conversation with*******. I still received messages from two different agents from Al professional Services. Then I found a note in my door stating that they had serviced my yard and to call if I wanted the inside treated. I then received a bill for full services not ordered or received. I cancelled this service, I DO NOT WANT THIS Service AND I WILL NOT PAY FOR THIS SERVICE!!! April 22, 2013, I received a past due notice for twice the current balance ($66.00) and Alabama Professional Services, Inc. is threatening to turn my account over to a collection agency. I won't be bullied into paying.

Business' Initial Response
Alabama Profession Service technician completed a perimeter service on Mr.********* home on 11/30/12 and left a notice to schedule with his technician to complete the service.

On February 7, 2013 the billing department was notified that the service has not been complained and Mr******** was rebilled for a partial service at half price.
***************************************************************************** The Pest Control Manager and was told that all charges would be removed. All charges were removed and the account was closed. per the customer's request.

Consumer's Final Response
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
On 11/30/12 the Service technician provided a perimeter service that was not authorized. I never talked to the technician. Also, Alabama Professional failed to mention the loss of my two off days waiting on the service technician that never showed nor called. I should send them a bill for my time. All charges were removed and the account was closed per my request, yeah right. They sent another bill, that is what prompted this action.
As long as All charges are removed and the account is closed I am satisfied with the outcome.
I am dissatisfied with the service and lack of professionalism from the Manager of Alabama Professional Services, Inc.

Complaint Resolution: BBB determined that while the company addressed the complaint issues, the complainant was dissatisfied and the matter was outside BBB Rules of Arbitration.
