Complaint
We are owed deposit money. Store closed abruptly without refunding our money. We have not received any communication from owner regarding our money.
I selected Bridal & Tux for my bridesmaids' dresses back in June 2014. Per **** ******** Store Manager, if all of the (six) bridesmaids in my wedding party paid a $100 deposit each before July 2014, they would each be entitled to 20% off the total cost of their dress. So with this information, we made a $100 deposit for each dress that was selected. In November, I was traumatized to find that the business had abruptly closed down with no warning or any form of communication from the store owner, manager, or anyone associated with this business. I called ***** **** on his cell phone around the end of November/ first of December and asked what was the plan for getting our deposit monies back and he just brushed me off the phone and said that they would be calling all of their customers the following week with more information (I never received a call and have called him several times since with no response). He also stated that he would be opening a new store on ******** but could not give out the address because they were still under contract. I spoke with **** ******* on January 16, 2015 and based on my conversation with her, his entire story was a lie and he has no intention of paying us back our money, making good on ordering our ordering our dresses, nor would he be opening a new store. I also learned that he is planning to file bankruptcy to do away with the debt. I informed both **** and ***** that this is very unprofessional and very difficult to deal with during this already stressful time of preparing for a wedding.

Desired Settlement
We would just like to be refunded the full $600 in deposits that was paid to the store to secure ordering the dresses.

We paid an $80 downpayment for a Dress on October and have not received the Dress, or a Status of the Dress. The store is now closed.
On 10/21/2014 a bridesmaid in my wedding put a deposit on a Dress of $79 (total about 150). I was Overall pleased with customer Service and Quality of the store. They said it would take 12-14 weeks. In january, i returned to the store to shop, and found that it was closed for Business. I called the ***************** and got the owner's cell phone number. XXX-XXX-XXXX. I called and he assured me that i would get the Dress. It has been 4 more weeks (17 weeks from purchase) and i have not heard anything. I have called multiple times, simply asking for a Status, no threats. The wedding is now in 60 days and we have no idea if we Need to find a new Dress or not. Even if we knew, it is too late to find a nice Dress. I am not sure what we will do for the wedding. i also checked the Website, it is no longer a valid Website. If he had told me in January there might have been something i could have done to get another Dress, but now it is too late. I know it is not a significant amount of Money, but it is my entire wedding that is being affected.

Desired Settlement
I would prefer the Dress, since it is too late to get one from another store. At the least the $79 refunded
