As is vehicle purchases
When you purchase a vehicle "as is", that is exactly what you have agreed to. It is up to you, as the consumer, to have the car checked out before you sign the contract. Once you drive the car off the lot and the sale is complete, the dealer has no further responsibility for the car - that includes no obligation for repairs or taking the vehicle back.
The BBB offers a brochure on "Buying a used car" upon request.
