BBB is warning citizens of another Netflix scam that has surfaced.
How the scam works:
People receive an email notification that appears to be from Netflix claiming there is a problem processing a credit card payment made on your account. Netlifx users are prompted to verify their credit card information in order to verify the account and avoid automatic account cancellation. Once the information has been provided, people's information is subject to identity theft and digital devices susceptible to harmful malware.

||This email is not from Netflix. BBB asks people not to open or respond to any suspicious emails from Netflix asking you about account cancellation or updating your account information. Remember, legitimate businesses will not email you requesting personal information (i.e. banking information, credit/debit card, Social Insurance Number, etc...).
