I had a major water damage loss in my home, where I used OnSide Restoration to repair the damages. It was already a very stressful situation because my tenant had to re-locate and I had to move out of my home for 2 weeks with my dog to a BnB, and have all my furniture including the toilet and sink moved out while my main floor flooring was being replaced and the basement ceiling, walls and carpet repaired. OnSide used a plumber from Bates Mechanical on January 19, 2021 to remove the toilet and sink and he simply capped the water line instead of shutting off the water and the cap blew off causing a bigger water damage loss than the original loss. This resulted in OnSide having to re-do all the repairs they had already done, so my home was in shambles with contractors coming and going (some until after 9pm once I had already moved back home!) and drywall dust everywhere including my pantry and inside the cupboards for 10 days longer than it should have taken. On-Side had cleaners come in before the job was even completed, so it took me days and days of cleaning and vacuuming after all the contractors were gone. I would NEVER use Bates Mechanical OR On-Side Restoration in the future.
