We have contracted Loewen Enterprises Ltd to clean the carpet of our whole house

One of their workers, ******, arrived on Wednesday February *, 2024 to do the cleaning. She brought with her relative, as she mentioned, to train her to do the job.

****** inspected the area and declared that the carpet was clean and that there is no need to do the vacuuming, and that there is no spot that required additional spot cleaning.

The job was done and we were told to wait for at least * hours to wait for the carpet to dry before moving the furniture back on the carpet.

We waited until the next day, February *, to start moving the furniture back onto the carpet.  While we were moving the furniture back, we found a major brown spot on the carpet, another dark spot in another area, and patches of uneven color in another room.

We called and messaged ******, with a photo attached, and received no response. Most likely because it was after hour, and they have no intention of addressing the issue after hour.

We forwarded the message to Loewen Enterprises, and immediately got a response saying “it needs more work from previous cleaners because we didn’t use any product in those rooms”

The next morning, February *, we received a very rude call from ******, blaming anything from the spot that was there before, to work from the previous cleaner, to material under the carpet.

****** refused to come over to even take a look at it unless we paid her approximately $*** to clean it. 

On Monday February **, we called ****** again and she was firmed that she will not do anything unless we paid here. And the interaction became very rude.

We have done this kind of cleaning before. This is the first time this has happened.  The house was inspected by ******, and there was no spot found anywhere that required additional chargeable service.

The spot surfaced from the work they have done.  The Company has no intention to resolve the problem without charging.
