Complaint: I have had wonderful experiences with this company in the past. Somewhere during the last contract period, they changed hands. I signed a contract for a budget plan for the heating season. They underestimated my plan. They failed to implement my notification that I lived in the house full time (previously I was a seasonal resident). They adjusted up my budget plan in the middle of the winter. In spite of that, and overpaying my budget amount, they claim I owe them over $1640. I have called over and over to talk to someone in billing. I am not getting to talk to anyone, only leaving messages. I believe the budget contract I signed locked in an oil price. They admit they did not honor that price, but they claim they had no information that I elected and signed a budget contract. I asked to see the contract (they did not provide a copy), and nothing has been sent. I cannot get this resolved without some effort on their side. They also let me run out of oil in the middle of the Xmas week ice storm when temperatures were low and there was a widespread power failure (I have a generator to run my system). There is NOTHING about their handling of me as a customer that signals a competent company to provide services in the future.
Desired Settlement: I want to see the contract I signed. I want to know, delivery by delivery, what I was paying, and if it was consistent with the contract. I want to know why they used no real data to come up with the raised figure in January, and that I still owe so much money. I want someone to call me with all these data prepared so we can get this settled asap.
