In August 2023 I brought my car in for transmission issues. They said I needed a new transmission and that it would be 5,000$ they had my car for two weeks. Over these two weeks they racked up 400$ worth of parking tickets on my car in which they did not notify me about. I was later mailed a bill to my home by ************** for these parking tickets when the car was in the mechanics possession. I then contacted the mechanic and they agreed to pay for the tickets which was a resolution. However not even 3 weeks later my car was not working or able to run anymore due to the transmission again. . I then had to pay 120$ to tow it back to their mechanic, as well as over 900$ in rental car fees to get to work and my classes at *****************. Now my car again has been there for over two weeks (now a total of over a month) for them to fix the transmission that they had already fixed , which they are fixing under warranty. However, I have to constantly call for updates on when it will be fixed and that said update changes every week from this business. I am now unable to continue to pay for rental car charges and am left without a car and unable to attend my classes, get to work and I am left unknowing when I will get my car back. Not to mention the hundreds of dollars that has come out of mine and my familys pockets for the mistakes and lack of efficient service I have received. I am looking to make this situation brought to someones attention and future customers and to at-least gain some type of compensation for the out of pocket money like towing, missed college classes which I pay for (and affect my grade) and rental cars I have had to pay due to their lack of service. I am also hoping to get my car back as this issue should have already been fixed by now and this situation has been very costly and more than un convienent.
