      Filed on December 3rd, 2022 On Monday 11/28/22 I bought a 2023 Volkswagen Taos SEL from Scott ** in ***************, **. I traded in a 2012 Lexus CT200h they valued at $8,000 and paid an additional $30,483.69. As soon as I took the vehicle off the lot I began experiencing various issues including the wireless car charger not functioning, buttons on the steering wheel not working, inability to connect to Apple Car Play, the entire media screen going black/flashing on and off, the car's GPS not working, a none of the media screen buttons working. I called ******************* on Tuesday, the individual who sold me the car, to report these issues and told him I'm very dissatisfied with the car. I decided to go on Friday (12/2) and speak with the Sales Manager, ***********************. I told her all of the issues I was experiencing and that I wanted to return the car but was told I couldn't, because the car had already been registered that morning. They gave me 2 options- to sell the car back and get 4-5k less than I paid, or trade it in elsewhere. I left my car there and got a call from service that evening and was told the 5F Module was broken. They said there are no replacements available in North America therefore they can't get an ETA from ** and this was a worst case scenario. He said in the past, this has taken up to 8 months to receive. I am now without a car because my Lexus was sold from ** to a wholesaler and is gone. I am aware of the Lemon Law and have documented these issues personally and with the dealership however with no ETA on this part.Their Response:They told me my Lexus is gone and that I could either sell the ** Taos back to them and lose around 4-5 thousand dollars in value because it was driven off the lot and depreciated in value, or keep it and trade it in elsewhere towards a new car. I was very clear that I wanted to pick it up AFTER it had been registered and insured but was met with complete resistance because he wanted to meet his sales quota.

      Do not buy a car from this dealership! The owner *** literally threatened me and said she's keeping my car. I had to literally threaten and say I'm going to call the cops if *** the owner doesn't give me my car back. Now why did this all happen. Because they wouldn't fix an oil change wire that I know for a fact they ruined. My car is a lease. My car was running perfectly until they told me I had to update my computer. I said I really don't need an update my car is running fine. But they insisted it's best for me to do it. Ever since I got my car back I've had nothing but problems. So I took it to get fixed and they tell me my wire was bitten by a rodent and it's going to cost me 200 bucks to fix it. My car is a lease. Plus I'm a loyal customer. I've been going to ********************* for over 10 years. I really thought talking to the owner *** would straighten this out. Instead she just didn't care. I told her my car was running fine until you did this update on the computer. Plus I'm a loyal customer. *** " the great" didn't care. All she cares about is robbing loyal customers blind. I told her. I'm going to go on every review platform and change my good reviews to bad ones if you don't fix my wire. She says to me and I quote, " I'm keeping your car." Really b**** I called back and talked to a manager and said. If *** doesn't give me my car back. I'm calling the cops and I'll be there with the police. I said they'll end up on the news. I can't believe *** " the great" is willing to lose a loyal customer over a 200 dollar wire. All she cares about is money. The greedy waste of a human being she is. Also know. Their reviews are fake. When you buy a car. They tell you if you leave us a good review. We'll do your first oil change for free. Talk about cheap b******* Most dealerships if you lease a car. You get free oil changes while your in the lease. Not at Scotts Volkswagen! Stay away from this dealership! Their bad news!
