On February 11, 2014 I placed a re-order for vacuum bags with TotalVac, having been very pleased with the service I had received on a previous order--my earlier order arrived within three days.
My second order never arrived. After waiting three weeks, I began calling the TotalVac customer service line and always with the same result--a series of recorded hand-offs until finally arriving at Customer Service, only to find out that--as was always the case--all of their customer service representatives were helping other customers. I left my information with them four times without ever getting a reply.
Finally, I went back and retrieved their original order confirmation email and sent an email back, which, at last, resulted in someone calling me. I was not available for the call and the number I was to call was their same customer service number.
Today, I received an email that the item I had ordered had been discontinued. They lied. I went to the TotalVac website and found the exact same bag in stock and ready for ordering.
Obviously, TotalVac management and TotalVac customer service think that toying with customers and lying to them is not a problem as long as they can remain anonymous behind their computer screens. And if "all their customer service representatives" are always assisting other customers, maybe they should hire more customer service representatives.
This consumer had a NEGATIVE experience with this business.
This consumer WOULD NOT recommend the business to a friend, family member, neighbor or colleague.
