    On June 9, 2022 I sent a $450 deposit to Durgan Travel for an October tour to Northern *****. That same week, I found out that my dog had an issue that will reoccur and it was best I not leave her to go on this trip. On June 17,2022 I emailed *******************, the agent, to inform her I was unable to take the tour and my money should be refunded. I was told that it would ***********-8 weeks to get my money back because it was immediately sent to ********* Travel Insurance and there was no one there who could help because they were on vacation.It is now 12 weeks since they received my deposit. I have emailed several times, most recently a week ago, with no response from either the agent or the owner of the company, ***********************. I called ********* insurance and was told they are a third party affiliate and couldnt give me any information.I canceled the trip less than 10 days after they received my money and according to the documents I should have a full refund.The friend that was supposed to travel with me has also tried repeatedly to get an answer from the owner of the company who continues to say she is trying to get our money back. I want to have my $450 deposit refunded to me since I very quickly notified them I wasnt able to travel on the tour.

    In 2020 my wife and I signed up for a Grand Tour of Italy offered through Durgan Travel. We had sent in our deposit of $450.00 each and then Covid hit in which we were notified that the trip was cancelled. I called and was told that the deposit would be applied to 2021 departures. I called again in the spring of 2021 and was told that we needed to be vaccinated. My wife was not vaccinated due to other health problems and I got a ridiculous response stating that it was not a problem but, we would have to be quarantined the first 5 days in country. What??? I then asked for a refund and the woman said that would be fine. She took the information needed from me and that I would receive a refund within 6 weeks. Six weeks went by, no refund. I called again and was told the check has been submitted, Almost three years later, still no refund. I've called numerous times with no response. Tried to leave a message but their mailbox is full. It's unfortunate that businesses like Durgan Travel take advantage of their customers once they have your money,
