Complaint: I contacted this company a total of 3 times to request their service in opening my pool this spring. They never had the courtesy to return ANY of the calls. I then had no choice but to try and open the pool by myself. My ex-husband did the best he could to help and got it running with the exception of one valve which was in the wrong position causing water to flow incorrectly through the pump which caused it to seize. I then called the pool company to come and take a look at it. When they came the the techs started telling me other things that they do when they open a pool (tightening bolts that THEY loosen when they close the pool etc...) All stuff that would have been done if they came and opened the pool as I asked. In any event, by the time all was said and done *** their "service" manager told me I would need to pay between $300-$430 to get my pool back running. I asked him what if anything he could do to help out with this price and he said there was NOTHING he could do and he was sorry no one returned my calls.....!!!!! I asked him if I paid for the fix today if he would consider giving me a complimentary pool closing to which he said NO. He did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to right their wrong!! I am disgusted that I paid this company $75,000 for this pool and had them close it every year since and this is how I am treated. Apparently customers are NOT their #1 priority!
Desired Settlement: I want NOTHING FROM THIS COMPANY other than to tell as many people as I can to BEWARE!! I have been a customer of theirs for more than 10 years and I can honestly say they have the WORST customer service I have ever had in any business dealing with ANY COMPANY!! This company will not be in business for much longer ..........
Environmental Pools takes pride in its customer service. We vigorously dispute the claims in this complaint for several reasons.
BBB's Final Determination: Business offered a resolution. Consumer did not pursue further with BBB and the matter was assumed to be resolved

Complaint: The contract for the design and installation of a custom gunite pool was signed on June 12, 2010. Due to several delays, the pool was not completed in 2010. The plaster finish was finally applied on April 26, 2011. Although we were told that two loads of water would be delivered at 1pm, the office failed to schedule delivery for that day. When we notified Environmental at 1:20pm that water had not been delivered, they were unable to schedule delivery before 5:30pm. Since it was a warm, sunny day, the plaster baked in the hot sun for over 6 hours (air temperature rose from 50 to 70 degrees). When the 50 degree water was delivered at 5:30 and 8pm, the temperature extreme cracked the plaster on the floor, walls and steps of the pool. This was noticed on April 28 and was immediately reported to two project managers by phone and email. We requested that the cracks, plus two other blemishes, be repaired before the beginning of the summer. After many phone calls, emails and four meetings, the plaster is still not repaired. At the last meeting on October 11, Environmental Pools and the plaster contractor, Triad, agreed to refinish the plaster by May 2012. A 1 year plaster warranty agreement was mailed to us for our signature along with the condition that the final payment be made by October 30, 2011. On October 28, we mailed the signed plaster agreement, along with additional terms pertaining to the final payment and the scheduling and execution of replastering the pool. We requested that Enviromental sign and return the agreement by November 11, but have not received the agreeement nor been notified in any other way. There is also a dispute regarding the final payment amount. While waiting for water delivery, we had been advised by Environmental to keep filling the pool with the garden hose. By 8pm, only 1 1/2 loads of the contracted two loads of water was required. On April 27, Enviromental agreed to credit our account for the 1/2 load of water. Final payment was given to the project manager on April 28, but Environmental did not cash the check. After 7 weeks had passed without the plaster repaired or the check cashed, payment on the check was stopped.
Desired Settlement: Sign, return and abide by the agreement mailed on October 28 which includes the following terms -Replaster the pool prior to May 15, 2012, preferably on a cloudy day in April -Contact us during the first week of April to schedule plaster prep -Notify us at least 2 days prior to the likely day of plaster -Ensure timely delivery of water -Have an Environmental representative present during replastering and filling of the pool -Credit our account for the previously agreed 1/2 load of water plus one additional load to refill pool -Accept final payment when pool is replastered and filled
