Complaint: 128 came to service my heating and A.C. unit for normal yearly service. After they serviced the unit they found an issue which they said needed to be fixed immediately. This issue cost $678 charged on April 27th which I had preauthorized the work to be completed. After the work was completed the A.C. unit stop working with in a week. I called 128 and they came back and said that the transformer was not working and it would cost $150 to fix which
I was then charged for along with an extra $54 in labor that I was not told I would be charged for, charged on May 4th Once again the unit stopped working and I called 128 to come out and look at it again. This time they told my husband what the issue was and said that because they had not fixed it the first time they would take care of the bill. A week later we received a bill for $1495 in the mail. We had not authorized any of these charges. All the other times they had come to do service all charges were preauthorized and paid with a credit card that day. I called to complain about the bill and was told I needed to speak with the Tech *****. I was told he would call me, I never received a call. I called the owner a few days later and did not receive a call back. I called again and did not receive a call back. The third time I called I got a hold of the owner **** and was told that he needed to speak to the tech ***** and would get back to me. That same day I cam home from work to find my entire A.C. unit on the floor. No one was given authorization to do any work or given a key to the closet where my units are located. When
I called 128 to ask what was going on I was told that the unit was leaking and ***** was in the building walking by and decided to fix it. None of this work was authorized. To this day I have not received any response from the owner **** and today the unit stopped working again.

Desired Settlement: I would like for my bill to be adjusted and my unit to properly work at all times, and for 128 to never do any work and touch my unit without my authorization.

Business Response: This message is to express our awareness of this matter.  We have been told the consumer will be contacting BBB to personally remove their complaint as we feel as though we have remedied the matter.  In the case the complaint is not removed, 128 Plumbing & Heating, Inc. will respond appropriately.


Consumer Response: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint.
