Problems with Product/Service
Read Complaint Details
Complaint: I have never been treated worse by a company in my entire life. I canceled my oil service and they still continued to deliver oil, even when the new tenants were there, sticking me with the bill. When i called to discuss the issue they said a manager would contact me. Instead they just rebilled me and knocked twenty cents a gallon off the price, still a $700 bill. Since then they have refused to return my phone calls. The was the second time I had asked to stop oil service and still received deliveries. It seems like their policy is to not respond or address customer complaints.
Desired Settlement: I will never use their service again. I just want to spare others the difficulties I encountered.
Customer had a conversation on 8/29/11 and explained that he may be moving and/or converting to gas he was not sure at the time. A delivery was made on october 14. A call was placed to our office and we agreed to discount the delivery to $3.399 per gallon - or pump out (go to location and retrieve the oil) customer was undecided and would let us know. The discount was processed, although we never heard back from the customer.
Better Business Bureau:
The company offered the lower rate but I did not initially accept the rate. I called back the manager who offered the lower rate and left a voice message explaining that the new rate was still unacceptable and asking her to call me back, but never received a call. Last week I placed a final call. A representative on the phone took my information and said she would have a manager call me back in the morning. It has been over a week and I still have not received a call. This is two times where a representative from alliance express willfully did not follow up with me. I did eventually make payment for the oil because I did not want a delinquent payment to harm my credit score. But am still dissatisfied with the service, treatment and lack of apology from the company.
I have reviewed with my general manager, and he has agreed to credit this account. If the customer still resides at or owns this property we would like an opportunity to retrieve the oil.
