Complaint: I had several bad experiances with Reggie's oil includeing, They didn't show up for my initial cleaning/oil delivery forceing me to take another day out of work for a second attempt, after appoligizeing and showing up the second time they left my home dirty with greasy fingerprints on the walls and muddy boot prints on the floor and damaged my thermostat. On 2/21/12 they toped off my tank wich was still half full chargeing me 4.02 per gallon wich at that time was about .30 per gallon higher then the average they also failed to give me a .15 per gallon credit on that delivery per our contract. I called to complain wich apparently led to a verbal cancelation of service. A few days later i recieved a bill of $445.22 wich they stated was a backcharge of credits they gave me as a new customer and to pay them back for my "free cleaning" wich they advertise as a $150 value but are chageing me $296.75 for. I called to complain about this bill and they stated that it is because i canceled before my year was up. I told them "well since my tank is now full and the heat is off for the season that they can consider me a customer untill 10/5/12 as i will not need a drop of oil by then anyway. He laughed at me and told me to file a complaint. I did not cancel with them in writting as per there contract so the bill should never have been issued anyway. I feel they breached there contarct through poor service and i am paid in full with them as far as i am concerned.

Desired Settlement: I would like a zero balance on my account as i am paid in full and to be let out of my contract. At the very least the unjust bill droped and continue there service untill 10/5/12 as per contract and to not have another delivery or service be made untill that time wich would also zero my balance and honor my contract.

Business Response:

In response to complaint: First appointment by owner of Company was missed due to his father being hospitalized unexpectedly. Owner did apologize and explain the situation (father did succumb to illness) client acknowledged and accepted apology and rescheduled for clean out to be done. Clean out was done accessing basement only, no requirement to go into living area's of home, this was the ONLY visit by a serviceman to home. There is no record of a call to complain about the work done in regards to cleanout or otherwise. Serviceperson  states that he did not enter living areas of the home that it was not necessary when questioned. 

During the first phone call with the owner when customer was discontinuing service it was brought to his attention that he had a signed contract and his quitting would result in promotional terms being broken and he would be charged back any work that was done under the promotion. He understood , agreed and said send the bill. 

The first time the issue of thermostat and fingerprints etc came up was during the second conversation via telephone with owner after he quit and recieved bill for promotions that became void due to breaking terms of signed agreement.
Once he recieved the bill for "Chargebacks" he called to complain and then stated all his issues .

The client was a customer October 2011 thru February 2012 , had One Service call  and three deliveries. He signed a contract and understood the terms.
