Complaint: The worst mistake by far was the error in introducing my husband and I (He skipped four people in the bridal party on the list I gave him) and introduced us while numerous members of our wedding party were still walking in. That did not look very good on our wedding video. He claimed that we owed him more money than the $900 we had already payed him which was written in our contract (He had brought somebody elses contract) then told me that I could just tip him instead since he was wrong about the money. Very unprofessional! He approached my wedding planner about how to do numerous things including The Anniversary Dance after we had discussed it on the phone the night before and he said no problem, hed done it before. I had emailed him a complete schedule of the night and he failed to do a number of things on the schedule (centerpiece game, anniversary dance, giving a shout out to relatives for traveling so far) I was obviously very busy as the bride especially as I had over 250 people there and I had to approach him each time we were about to do something (Toasts, Father/daughter Dance, Cake Cutting) and remind him of other things he needed to do (Dedicate a song to my mom, Say happy Birthday to my uncle) As a bride I should not have had to do all thatHe had it all written down in front of him. He had a list of my wedding party names in order (phonetically spelled out), a schedule for the night, and also a complete list of songs but he chose not to play a lot of our music and picked songs on his own. He even tried to play one song twice which shouldn't happen when he had a whole list of music that he was supposed to be playing. We could have just hooked up our own laptop to the speakers and it would have done a much better job without having to pay $900 (or more had we taken his word for it that we owed him more) and stress ourselves out on our big day. Needless to say we were not satisfied at all with his work ethic, professional demeanor, or the quality of work.
Desired Settlement: These business practices are wholly unprofessional and unacceptable and we feel that explaination/satisifaction be given to our issues.
This complaint was handled directly with the client. Best Bands refunded **** ****** some monies, and he was happy with our solution to the problem.
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns.
BBB's Final Determination: Consumer accepted resolution offered by the business.
