Complaint: ** the motel owner, shared my private information such as name, residence, and financial information as well as the circumstances of my reservation/cancelation of reservation with other guests of the motel. While discussing my situation with other guests, disparaging things were said about me personally. He has called me at 930pm to harass me further in our dispute about the cancellation time frame and whether an amount is due to his business. He also went on to tell me of his discussions with other guests about my personal situation. PRIVATE INFORMATION SHOULD NEVER BE SHARED BY ANY BUSINESS OR MEDICAL FACILITY.

Desired Settlement: I want this owner to stop harassing me. We disagree on the time frame of the cancellation of my reservation. I have concerns that he is not keeping other guests personal information private as well as credit card information.

Business Response: The issue was the dates for the sailing were given the wrong dates. We require 7 days notice to cancel. I offered only charging one night instead of two for the cancel reservation. The original date was made June 15, 2015 and the consumer had called July 13th to cancel. The consumer had given me an ok to run the credit for the one night and I was not able to run the card. I tried to contact her for several days with no luck. I finally called from my cell phone and was able to reach the consumer. She was not interested in speaking with me. I did have a list of just names for the sailing group that was due to come in and that's how the other group member knew she was going to be coming. All other credit info is is always kept secure.
