2/4/2015 Horrible! Do not use! I started with Thriveworks July 2013 and I am STILL not through creditialling process. Almost every insurance company I had to follow up with myself. I recently tried on my own to get on an insurance panel and it took me 3 months. The fastest with Thriveworks was 6 months!!! They lie and argue. I have never written to BBB but this is just unforgivable!

11/14/2014 I have had a mixed experience with Thriveworks. The therapist I saw was one who I had already been seeing regularly before she joined the Thriveworks office. My initial experience was pretty good. Scheduling went fine and the offices were clean, comfortable and inviting, though there is no reception desk or anyone to greet you when you arrive. My negative experience has been with their billing/payment procedures. They do not provide the therapists with a payment system that works. Many times when I tried to pay my copay at the end of my appointment, the therapist was unable to get the payment to work. I was then expected to call in to the billing office and make a payment over the phone. They never sent any written bills or statements, and when my therapist tried to go into my account to figure out what I owed the accounting system made it very difficult to figure out. We couldn't tell what were payments and what was owed, and couldn't seem to match my actual appointments to them. In the end, I'm really not sure that I didn't overpay by paying for the same appointment multiple times. I am going over my credit card bills to try to sort it out, but it makes no sense that they don't have a typical billing and accounting program. It made me feel as though they did it on purpose so that clients and therapists could not really see what was going on. I will be following up to make sure that I haven't overpaid. Thankfully, my therapist has left Thriveworks so I no longer have to deal with this.

9/16/2014 My partner and I scheduled a first session with a woman (counselor called ***** *) from the Westboro office for couples counseling and relationship advice. Imagine our shock and horror to find that she was prejudiced and ignorant and unwilling to counselor a same sex couple. Not only in our 16 years together had we never been treated so badly by any professional but it was a counselor. Those professionals who have, I had believed, selected a career in helping people. She proceeded to tell us that while she was not aligned with our beliefs that she would maybe see if her colleagues at "Thriveworks" would have a problem with it. It was insulting and humiliating to be treated like that in 2014 in what I assumed was a liberal state like Massachusetts. Shame on you ***** and Thriveworks.

9/5/2013 Very disappointed with Thrive works and the way they handled the scheduling and billing for services. Very unprofessional and incompetent people manning the reception desk.Moreover, the receptionist/scheduler failed to comply with company policies and forgot to disclose a very important clause regarding payment.
