6/26/2015 This catalog and online company is a ripoff. They charge inappropriate "restocking fees" claiming returned items need to be washed. Since my returns were in pristine condition, I am insulted to be told they were covered with hair and had to be washed. It there was hair on these items, they came with it. One item was never even removed from its plastic shipping bag. This is unacceptable treatment and unique in my 40+ years of catalog and online shopping. The extra $10 charge is robbery.
This customer had a NEGATIVE experience with this business.
This customer WOULD NOT recommend the business to a friend, family member, neighbor or colleague.

Comment from the Business We are a company in business for 79 years and we ensure that each product that goes out is carefully inspected to ensure that the quality is excellent. In this case, the customer returned two brassieres to us (two different sizes) and both had an excessive amount of hair which had to be laboriously removed, strand by strand. Most companies simply would have rejected these items and returned to customer without refund; in this case, we took the time to laboriously remove the individual hair strands and thus we subtracted $10.00 from this customer's refund as a restocking fee. Our customers need to have the confidence that they can buy from us and expect only garments of top quality that are in excellent condition. Restocking fees are rare but in this case we had no other recourse other than to reject the items altogether and send back to customer. by on 6/26/2015
