Complaint: I had been a regular customer of C&W for 7 yrs without incident other than high pricing. I was ensured that while their pricing might be high, they stand by and guarantee their work plus provide priority service to established customers. So, I had new PVC piping for a toilet installed and prepped for the kitchen upgrade- $1000 charge. I was very clear I had a disability and needed space to accommodate a wheelchair . Not only have 2 other plumbers bidding on future jobs, noted the pipe isn't pitched properly for draining, but the hole for the toilet is cut so close to the wall, I'd have to be a child to fit my leg around it, never mind a wheelchair - it has to be completely redone (at my expense). Then, one of the pipes that was capped off and valve added, has continued to leak. I have had the plumber out twice to repair it. The 3rd time, I was sent a bill for the work after I specifically asked the Plumber if he would ensure the office knew it was the same. When I called the office manager, she was condescending and said she would have to check with the plumber and he was on vacation. Next, I received a nasty letter that stated while she would waive the fee for the warranteed work she could have charged me for an hour of his time "explaining the system to me." The only explaining that was done was my 2 minute showing the leak; I left while he did the work! There is no 'system' to explain. Congruently, I had their boiler tech check the auto water fill guage on my furnace as it seemed low and shutting off a lot. I wanted to see how he checked and what he set it at so I watched. He explained it was set to the factory default & he raised it just a tad - a 5 minute conversation. For this, I received a separate bill of another $136. Lastly, one of the workers left the main valve open & my pipes froze, then burst - though they denied it. The office manager snapped that I woke her up when I called the emergency line! Both she & the scheduler were extremely rude; I missed work,has water damage, no heat!

Desired Settlement: This posting is for the awareness of other customers; I would like to speak to the owner directly. I feel I am at the least, owed an apology for the rude treatment! I should add, that the plumber (though not effective in his work performed) was nice enough and the heat tech seemed knowledgeable and professional... this is clearly a service problem as well as lack of communication between the office and the field workers, which is then taken out on the customer. I missed work & had water damage.
