Complaint: I purchased a "Rhode Deal" from Rhode Island Monthly Magazine in December 2013. It was a $49.00 voucher good for a $249.00 service at The Alive Academy. Promotional voucher #****************. My credit card was charged as expected for the $49.00. I began calling the Alive Academy the first week of March 2014 to book my appointment. I got voicemail and left a message. I called everyday for 2 weeks and never got a call back. I also tried filling out the appointment request on the Alive Academy website. I have been calling for nearly a month now and always get voicemail. No one ever calls back. I really wanted this appointment as they arte the only ones around who do biofeedback, but now I do not trust them. I just want my money back. It's a shame because I could have brought them many customers.

Desired Settlement: Please refund my credit card and notify me that you are doing so. Also, Rhode Island Monthly should be made aware of this scam so they stop doing business with them too. Thank You.

Business Response: We have made contact with **** and offered a refund for the voucher she purchased. We also offered to render services to the client.
