Complaint: Mr. Meehan replaced the vinyl siding on the front side of our house on July 5. The job was completed that day and I paid him $650, the balance owed. I had several issues and he came back on July 7. At that time he asked for an additional $40 for special screws he said he purchased to rehang the shutters, which I paid. When removing the vinyl shutters they were slightly damaged. Mr. Meehan said he would touch up the shutters with some paint. Although I felt badly that the shutters had been damaged because they were not even a year old, I agreed to that resolution. In addition he agreed to caulk the open spaces around the windows and window sills and center or change one of the window sills. It has been over two months since the job was completed. Mr. Meehan has repeatedly promised to come back and fix the problems but never has. The last time I spoke with him he told me that he would be here September 13 or 14, if not then definitely on the 15th. Once again he didn't show up. At this point (September 20) I am frustrated and feel obligated to report my experience with him to the Better Business bureau.

Desired Settlement: I would like Mr. Meehan to keep his word and return and caulk the open spaces around the windows and window sills, and center or change one of the window sills, as he agreed to do. We have already touched up the damaged shutters ourselves.

Business Response: I apologize for this oversight. I will see that Mrs. **********'s repair issues are properly handled next week.

BBB's Final Determination: Business offered a resolution. Consumer did not pursue further with BBB and the matter was assumed to be resolved
