Refund and Exchange Policy
The business state the following Warranties:  Buy with confidence - 10 Day Money Back Guarantee - we want you to be totally satisfied with every purchase you make from BBA Reman. It is our aim to offer you quality at low prices. If for any reason, you are not completely happy with your purchase, simple return it within 10 days of delivery, unused and in its orginal packaging together with the invoice to BBA. We'll exchange the product or offer you a full refund. Additionally, all BBA products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a life time subject to condition.

Life Time Warranty - The BBA Limited Lifetime Warranty covers the repair of your unit back to its original operating condition for any problems resulting from manufacturing or workmanship defects. All internal components and labor performed by BBA Remanufacturing Inc are fully covered. It is valid as long as you own the vehicle and is non-transferable. Shipping, removal, diagnostic, coding, programming, software download, and/or mechanic charges are not covered by the warranty. If BBA determines the part is beyond repair, we will either provide a replacement unit, or refund the entire purchase price, at our discretion. Factors that could void the warranty include, but are not limited to: water damage, fire damage, over voltage damage, part being damaged as a result of another defective part in the vehicle, damage caused by jump starting the vehicle, improper use, use in an application for which the part was not intended, or untimely return of core unit (if applicable).

Exchange Items -Please include your phone number (we are unable to ship without this). Once payment has been recieved, we will ship you a remanufactured unit, usually within 1-2 working days. Once you have installed the unit, you need to ship back your non-working part to us in the same box with the prepaid UPS label included for all orders placed within the US. If the old core is not returned (in re-buildable condition) within 30 days, an additional charge of $150 will be applied and your warranty will be voided. Complaint: I sent my instrument cluster in for repair to BBA. Beside missing pixels in the gear selection display, it worked fine. When BBA was done repairing it not only did all of the warning lights turn on and stay on, but the temperature gauge read -36 and the display gave a message of "Display Defective". My car will not run without the display installed, so I am stuck without a car. I contacted Mercedes and their engineer told me that a "Display Defective" message means that the display itself is bad, and no outside factors can cause this message. BBA refuses to call Mercedes for verification. Instead they would like me to purchase a new display ($1500), have it installed ($250) and if it works they will refund my original $215.00. In other words they destroyed my working display and will only refund me the work that they did, but not correct the damge they did. Their warranty clearly states "they will return the unit in original condition" and clearly they didn't. They state that "their bench equipment says it's fine" but once again they are not using Mercedes test equipment to check all systems. They have come up with a myriad of excuses as to why it isn't working, none of which make sense and were quickly disproven. I am very upset that I have been out of a car for almost a month and that this business is limiting itself to only the repairs they did and not the damage they caused. When all is said and done, I will be out almost $2000.00 and I am angry.

Desired Settlement: Mercedes will verify, in writing, that the part is bad. If this is the case I would like replacement of the cluster and full restitution for time and money spent to fix it. I will need them to pay for replacement, reprogramming and installation. Also I would like a full refund as I cannot use the part they broke. They may keep it if they wish.

Business Response: We have worked with Mr ****** *********f on the problems reported with the vehicle after the repair of his instrument cluster at our facility. The car is now functioning as it should and all parties are on good terms again. In addition, as a good will gesture, we have fully refunded all payments Mr ********** made to BBA Remanufacturing Inc regarding his repair order.

Complaint: My husband and I requested an ABS module for our car f. BBA-Reman sent us an ABS module with the instructions to have it professionally installed at a dealership. We did that and the dealership couldn't get the ABS to work but still charged us $200 for labor. We sent the part back to BBA-Reman and they determined that the ABS module they sent out was faulty in the first place but refused to cover the cost we paid to the dealership to try to have the ABS module installed. We think that since the product they sent us was faulty that they should have to cover the cost of the labor from the dealership to try to install it. They couldn't find another replacement ABS for us either. BBA info- original reference #: ****** new reference #:****** Your help is appreciated. It is not right that we were sent a part that didn't work in the first place and then BBA refused to cover the cost we were passed along from the dealership for labor that didn't accomplish anything due to a faulty part. After dealing with this company we are right back to where we started, minus the $200 to try to have a part they sent us that never worked in the first place installed in our vehicle.

Desired Settlement: We think it is only right that BBA-Reman compensate us the $200 it cost us to have the ABS module part that they sent us to have professionally installed at a dealership (as instructed) since the part they sent was faulty.

Business Response: Regarding the above complaint filed on the 22nd by **** ******, the message that was originally sent to us want to an email address at one of the BBA's overseas offices and we were not contacted here at the office in the USA where business was conducted originally.  This I believe to be the reason that this refund took do long.  Once we in the US was informed of this, we refunded the $200 in question, that was done on the 29th from our accounting department and I phoned Ms ****** as well to confirm this too.  Please see the attached printout from our accounting showing the credit back the Ms *******
