Complaint: Recently I visited Mickey Rays in Boise for dinner with a coupon I received through my participation in the Dirty Dash. The coupon clearly states in large, bold letters GOOD FOR 1 FREE BUD LIGHT or CRAFT DRAFT. The coupon displays the Odell Brewing logo on it and I was looking forward to enjoying one of the Odell craft beers. Unfortunately when I presented the coupon to my server I was informed that it was only valid for Bud Light or Pabst. I politely pointed out that Pabst was not a craft beer and the coupon advertises Odells, but the server confirmed with other restaurant staff that they would only allow Bud Light or Pabst. Needless to say this false advertising was very disappointing.

Desired Settlement: I'd like to know if any similar complaints have been received and what can be done to stop their deceptive advertising practices

I was made aware of your complaint through the Better Business Bureau.  I wanted to reach out and explain.  ***** distributing made a typo on the voucher and it was never approved by MickeyRay's before it went out.  My apologies for the inconvenience.  I would like to offer you a $10 MickeyRay's gift card so your next two craft beers are on me.  Please give me your mailing address and I will get the gift card in the mail immediately.  Next time you are in the restaurant please ask for me so I can come say hello.
