Complaint: Girlfriend & I purchased a used car for her son. Neither of us had good enough credit to qualify for a loan on our incomes so the only way we could purchase the car was both of us had to be on the contract so they could use both of our incomes. The 1st car had a warranty and was no good so the car lot came, picked it up and determined that it would cost them to much to fix. They sent us to another lot they had because they had a car similiar to this one but was a little more money. They said they would just transfer the loan to the 2nd car. **** ***** and I were both on the original agreement but when I went to pick up the 2nd car, they had me sign a installment agreement in order to take the car off of the lot. I found out a few weeks ago that they never included **** ***** on the paperwork or had her come in and sign the agreement like she had to on the first car. Since I did not quality for a loan on the 1st car with out Tina's income, how did I quality for a loan on the 2nd car that was $1000.00 more then the 1st car on my income alone? I have went into the car lot 2 times and they do not know why she was left off of the 2nd car agreement? They just say they do not know why she did not get put on the agreement.
Desired Settlement: I want them to include **** ***** on this installment agreement since she was the co buyer on the original agreement and was suposed to be on this 2nd car as well. Neither one of us qualified for a loan without the other one's income.
Business Response: On or about 11/25/2012 *** *** ***** and *** ***** purchased a vehicle from our Vista lot.According to ****** ***** the vehicle had some issues. The vehicle was sold AS-IS without a warranty, however our sales lot agreed to unwind the deal.On or about 12/13/2012 *** *** ***** purchased a second car in his name only.*** ***** is not a signator on any of the forms.
BBB's Final Determination: After reviewing the information provided by all parties, BBB determined that the business handled the matter appropriately, and no further action was needed.
