              after driving home from work on 2/9/24, I backed into my garage and my steer wheel was able to turn in complete circles, no warning, dash lights, noises. No tension from the tires on the concrete, just freely moving around and around. I call BM and spoke to ****, letting him know what I have experienced, sent him a video of my steering wheel going around and around and to let him know I would be having my car towed over the next morning. A couple of days later I was able to get a loaner to be able to get to work. A couple of days later I called to find out if anything had been figured out as to why that was happening and was told they had driven it around the parking lot and it drove just fine. I let them know that I needed to know that everything had been checked as to why such a thing could happen because I could have been seriously hurt or died if this had happened while on the freeway or streets. I was told I would get a call back soon. I called back about a week later and was told the *** light was flashing and they were going to be working on it to see what the problem was. On 2/13 I got a call after 5 pm from a person I believe his name was ***** letting me know BM has my multi point inspection results. I asked him about the findings again and was told he didn't know what I was talking about. I asked him to look farther down my service records and he said he had found it and stated I had called and said my car made a popping sound and then something else. I stopped him and told him that was never said and told him what I had experienced and he said he had never heard of such a thing and to please sent him the video. I did and he was going to look into it and find out what the status was. I have asked them to speak to my good friend ***** about this, he is retired and I work full time. ***** is a former mechanic of many, many years. I got a call from Tody 3/5, asked me to call back. I did, left mess and haven't heard back since.

              Do yourself a big favor and do some serious homework on this dealership and some of their engine issues, which can be devastating. Also, buyer beware of certain years of some models, for example, engine failure potential. Do not be deceived by all of the high marks and ratings given here or on any of the other major sites that offer reviews. Our experience has been decent in the past after buying two Certified pre-owned vehicles. Our first was a 2014 Sonata which had catastrophic engine failure at 72K miles. ****** was replaced as expected and has performed well so far. Fingers crossed. ****** warranty was extended to 120K miles. ****** vehicle was a Certified pre-owned 2017 Santa Fe Sport 2 wheel drive with the 2.4 liter engine. Just over 70K miles and check engine light with "****** failure" code appeared. Assumed engine would be replaced. After being promised a three to four week wait for diagnosis with absolutely no communication, we suddenly get a call, after almost 90 days of waiting, saying it's been fixed with an engine bearing software upgrade and owe almost 400 dollars for work I knew nothing about and did not authorize. We went in to pick up the Santa Fe awhile later and asked if they could work with us on the bill after being forced to purchase another used vehicle to replace the rental we were getting price raped for. The only thing done was removal of .5 hours labor before we saw the bill. Not impressive folks! Needless to say, you ******** boys need to listen loud and clear to your customers, and bring your "A" game with customer service, for it will make or break you. My unfortunate experience has negated my loyalty to the best power train warranty offered in the business simply because of the way this ordeal was handled by your staff in the service department. Don't force yourself to be the worst dealership in town simply because you cannot train your staff to have stellar customer service first. Stuck with a Lemon I can't sell and won't trade.
