Users have been receiving emails from “legalnotice@facebookmail.com,” explaining the lawsuit and the ability for individual users to receive $10 from the corporation if a claim is filed. However, these payments cannot be made if too many people choose to file a claim. There is only enough money to go out to a certain number of users. As a result, if too many claims are made, the money will be contributed to not-for-profit organizations instead. Many people have been disregarding Facebook’s emails for spam, but make sure you don’t make that mistake!
