According to the FTC, if you’ve purchased the popular Disney or Marvel children’s vitamins, featuring such characters as Disney Princesses, Winnie the Pooh, Finding Nemo and Spider-Man, you may be eligible for a refund.
This $2.1 million settlement is part of the FTC’s efforts to prohibit marketers of children’s vitamins from making deceptive health claims about brain and eye development.
Consumers who have purchased vitamins between May 1, 2008 and September 30, 2010 at CVS Pharmacy, Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, Kroger, Kmart, Meijer, Rite Aid or online, may file a claim online or call 866-224-4336 to request that a paper claim form be mailed. The deadline for eligible consumers to file their claims is October 12, 2012.
